In the field Monday, we befored a Fire Restoration job cleaning the garage for a house in Olathe, Kansas. Our customer was a frequent customer that calls on us to perform Fire Restoration on different houses and buildings. For the Olathe job we remove the soot and char using a baking soda and brite blast mix since the house was not occupied therefore soda was a more cost effective and faster media to use rather than dry ice. Monday we started the week cleaning paint and rust off a Chevy S10 car grill that our customer was restoring. Since the grill was made up of a heavy steel material we were able to clean it using our traditional sand media.
Tuesday we power washed and blasted 5 pipes and pipe couplings. Our customer performs mobile powder coating on surfaces that will be under water with high pressure. We were able to clean the pieces using our traditional sand media after we power washed the

Monday we started the week by finishing the forklift pieces we blasted and painted for a business next door. We applied the black topcoat for the remaining sections of the forklift pieces to complete the project. At the shop, we also torbo blasted using glass bead two stainless steel cabinet doors as an expedited order for a current customer. These doors were part of a job we originally completed January 23rd, however two of the cabinet doors previously blasted by someone else came

We finished the pool job in Lees Summit Missouri early this week. We finished painting the two 24’ truck beds with direct to metal black paint at the shop Monday. Also at the shop, we cleaned paint of 1 impeller using our traditional sand media for a repeat customer. We also cleaned the paint off a window frame using sand as well as remove paint and rust on a second forklift from the business next door.

Monday we continued the pool job in Lees Summit to remove paint from a 6,800 square foot pool. We continued making progress on that job throughout the week, however we were unable to finish the job at the end of the week because of the heavy rain. Also on Monday we finished the job removing paint from 1,230 square feet of stone for a house at Lake Lotawana, Missouri. Monday we completed two small jobs at our shop. The first job was for a repeat customer out of Hiawatha that needed us to blast two heavy machine pieces to remove oil, paint, and rust in order for the customer to re-machine the pieces. First we power washed the remove the tar and oil left from the pieces, then we proceeded to blast the pieces to remove the existing paint using our traditional sand media. The job was complete that day which saved our customer a trip back to

We started this week with a small job at our shop removing paint off a closet tub. The customer came to us as a referral from a tub refinishing company. We were able to remove the paint off the exterior of the closet tub as well as the four feet within our 1-hour minimum rate for shop jobs using Sand.

Starting this week we finished the crib rail job at our shop by applying a topcoat to the primer that was coated last Friday. This customer was very pleased the new crib rails upon pick up. We finished removing paint from the pipe flanges pieces for a repeat customer, this job was started last week but finished Monday morning. We were closed Monday due to the New Year Holiday. We hope everyone had a safe and joyous New Year. Tuesday we started a job in Clifton, Missouri dry ice cleaning interior walls, ceiling and equipment in a gas pump building. The first phase of the job went through the rest of week. We sent two crews to perform the dry ice cleaning and both crews returned on schedule Friday evening.

Due to the holiday we were closed on Monday, but returned on Tuesday December 27, 2011. On Tuesday we started a job in Manhatten, Kansas cleaning the oil and grime off two braider machines using our Dry Ice media. We used dry ice because it would clean the surface and not remove the existing coat except areas where the paint was failing or chipping. Once the two machines were clean we then re-coated the machines with a primer and top

Monday we sent a two-man crew to a house in Spring Hill to clean attic decking, joists, roof deck, exterior brick to remove soot and char. The job was brought to us by a repeat customer Restoration company in the Kansas City area. It entailed cleaning approximately 431 square feet of surface to be cleaned. The job was completed in half a day as scheduled.

We started the week sending out two mobile crews to Wichita, Kansas to work all week on a Fire Restoration job. The job called for Dry Ice cleaning to remove soot and char covering over 20,000 square feet. We utilized Dry Ice on this job to keep the dust level to a minimum and not have any secondary media waste other than the removed soot and char. This job was completed on Friday on schedule with our two crews working Monday thru Friday this week.

Monday we continued working on the Fire Restoration Dry Ice Cleaning job for the Days Inn Motel in Olathe, Kansas. The job entailed almost 5,000 square feet of cleaning surface area using our Dry Ice cleaning process. The motel had previously had a fire that reached two separate rooms. The contractor on the job called us sto remove the soot and char within those affected areas. This job was completed by Thursday of this week as scheduled.

Monday we started the week removing Road Striping at 40 Hwy & Adams Dairy Parkway. For that job we utilized our traditional sand media due to the heavy painted road striping. As the job progressed, the road striping area kept increasing because the customer wanted us to remove additional striping therefore the job went from Monday through Wednesday of this week. We also utilized two crews to complete this job.

This week was a short week due to the holiday. We performed a cleaning re-bar to a post office parking garage in Independence, Missouri. We were able to complete this job using our traditional river sand media. The work was complete within half a day. Wednesday we preformed a small job in Mission, Kansas profiling some concrete sidewalk. Again, we were able to use our traditional sand media. This job was completed in one day as projected.

We started the week cleaning up the spent media for the house in Drexel, Missouri. Remember for that job, we used baking soda to clean the wood and brick on the interior of the house. Below you can see a before and after picture of the difference in the wood.

For the week of November 7th, 2011, we completed a job soda blasting paint off wood and concrete surfaces at a large house in Drexel, Missouri. This mobile job was in the works for some time but we were waiting for the customer to get everything cleaned out of the areas we intended to blast. The customer was in the process of remodeling the house and wanted to restore the walls to the original finish. This week we completed a mobile job at the Kansas City plaza to profile a concrete walk way using sand. The reason for the profile was to create a rough walk surface to prevent slip hazards when the walkway gets wet. We also completed another fire restoration job, using our baking soda application, on a house that caught fire in Independence. The paint removal from the pool in Tonganoxie continued as well.

This week, We completed blasting and painting a cement truck. The customer wished for us to sand blast the frame and all equipment parts behind the cab. We used our traditional sand media at our shop location to remove all paint and rust then coated the blasted areas with a metal primer then top coat.

This week we are stripping the failing paint from the handrail outside of the Law Enforcement Center in St Joseph, Mo. This project is being done with the Torbo Blast Technology due to the fact that it is in front of a building that will remain operational thoughout the week, thusly dust is a major concern. Also we are having to take special care to protect the limestone footing of the ramp area from blasting as well.
